-Rick Davis is a retired battalion chief from the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority in Colorado. He served as a firefighter for thirty-seven years and with Loveland Fire for over twenty-nine. During his time with Loveland Fire, Rick led several teams and served as a shift commander and training chief.He is a veteran of both the United States Air Force and United States Marine Corps, and founder of the Fire Officer Leadership Academy providing leadership training, coaching, and mentoring to fire department officers, as well as a member of the John Maxwell Certified Leadership Team.Rick is the author of The Furnace of Leadership Development, an Amazon international best-selling book, and co-host of the podcast Firehouse Talks With Jersey Rick: Igniting Leadership Excellence.
