Pioneers | Shelby Scarbrough

From Burger King to Air Force One, Shelby Scarborough's journey has been a special one. Her first job right out of college was with The White House, as a Presidential Trip Coordinator for President Ronald Reagan. She was part of the coordinating team for many of President Reagan's appearances, such as the 1988 Reagan-Gorbachev Summit in Moscow and a NATO meeting in Brussels. She is also the founder of Practical Protocol, a global events management organization for dignitaries. She was also a Burger King franchisee, building ten restaurants in Northern Virginia. She's also the co-founder of the nCourage Entrepreneurs Angel Investment Group, which now has a portfolio of about a dozen startups.
