TMNT Adventures 16, 17 & 18

TMNT Adventures issues 16, 17 & 18 Returning to New York is a long Oceanic journey that is filled with adventures. Issue 16 picks up where the Turtles and April leave behind Jaguar & Dreadmon. Their trip leads them to a secret island where they are captured by a ship that's illegally dumping Toxic waste on the ocean floor, and run into the Hero known as Man Ray! Man Ray and the turtles fight their captors and escape back to the ocean and travel via Humpback Whales to the waters of the Mississippi River and New Orleans. Next up is their battle with the poaching Cap'n Mossback, a harpoon peg-legged eye-patched Pirate of a fisherman who gets the better of Man Ray. The Brothers & April have to save the Turtles from the shrimp boat nets and their friend Man Ray too. Finally in the return home to New York, the turtles stumble upon a Teenage Rock Band that is practicing in the Shredder's old Hideout in the sewers. The first appearance of the one and only Mondo Gecko ( esquire)! Join the Turtles and they return home to their Master, and meet the newest Mutant on the Block. An all new Pizza Time fit for an Ocean Journey, Anchovy & Extra Garlic! And the Playmates Commercial for Slash, The Fugitoid & Mondo Gecko!
