Esade

Lecture by Liliana Arroyo, researcher at ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation

07 Dec 2018

Description

The rise of digital activism has had profound effects with regard to the redefinition of power, the role of NGOs as intermediaries, the emergence of new actors and the challenge of seducing new generations of activists. In this rapidly changing context, new windows of opportunity are opening up at the intersection of digital tools and storytelling. This inspiring talk explores the ways in which individuals and organisations can launch viral campaigns on social media platforms and develop tools for accessing and sharing information transparently for the purposes of fundraising, spreading awareness and modifying consumption habits. This session took place within the framework of the executive training programmes organised by ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation. For more information: http://esade.me/1NbvJEYHosted by Ausha.
