Fight for Iowa - Beth Goetz, Deputy Athletics Director and COO

The University of Iowa's new Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief Operating Officer Beth Goetz hit the ground running when hired to replace the retiring Barbara Burke at the start of a new school year. Most recently the Athletic Director at Ball State where she oversaw 19 Division One sports teams, Goetz has been involved at the National level serving as chair of the NCAA Women's Basketball committee. Born and raised outside St Louis in Florrisant, Missouri. From Graduation success rates, to performance on the the court and on the field, the former soccer player says her core values fit with Iowa.
