The Hawkeyes had five players sign free agent contracts: Running back Tyler Goodson is now a Green Bay Packer, cornerback Matt Hankins signed with the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans grabbed safety Jack Koerner, Kicker Caleb Shudek inked a deal with the Tennessee Titans and all Big Ten defensive end Zach Van Valkenburg is headed to the Las Vegas Raiders. One good Van deserves another, Van Vaulkenburg is handing the reins to Lukas Van Ness, a prized redshirt sophomore who emerged last season rotating from tackle to end, just tapping into his potential with 15 tackles, 7 and a half of those for loss and 6 sacks.
