Technique Talk: Dave Camarillo on Kayla Harrison's and Travis Stevens's judo success
13 Aug 2016
In this interview, Dave Camarillo - MMA coach, decorated grappler and judo and jiu-jitsu black belt - explains why Olympic judokas Kayla Harrison and Travis Stevens had medal success in Rio. Rather than try to beat the judo world at its own game, the Americans have adapted and adopted a more complete style of grappling that's, in part, influenced by jiu-jitsu.
