President Herzog reacts to the news that Ireland, Norway and Spain will officially recognise the state of Palestine by the end of this month, calling it a "futile step" that "won’t help" Palestinians. He also comments on the recent death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, claiming they are not celebrating in Israel - but makes the point that the UN mourning his death illustrates the ‘rotting of the institution’.
