Adam Rittenberg and Dominic Miranda Join Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook! College Realignment + Should Anthony Richardson Start?
07 Aug 2023
(00:00-28:43) – The Fan Midday Show opens on a Monday with Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook discussing the fight that happened Saturday night between Jose Ramirez and Tim Anderson in the Guardians/White Sox game. Additionally, they discuss how Shane Steichen can’t let the decision of Frank Reich to start Bryce Young to force him to start Anthony Richardson. The two debate whether Richardson should start or not. (28:43-41:44) – Now that the Hall of Fame game is over and former players have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, there are now new players that are eligible to be inducted. One of those players is Andrew Luck. Brian and Jimmy discuss why Luck should not be inducted into Canton but feel like he should be inducted into the Colts Ring of Honor. (41:44-47:25) – Brian and Jimmy conclude the first hour of the show by discussing the Big Ten adding Washington and Oregon to the conference in 2024 to up the school total to 18-teams. They debate if the conference would remove any teams. (47:25-1:12:08) – Hour number two of the Fan Midday Show with Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook starts with the two and producer Eddie Garrison revealing which game show they’d want to go on most with NFL Family Feud airing the other night. Eventually they bring new reasonings as to why the Colts should or should not start Anthony Richardson. Finally, they try to characterize the addition of Kenyon Drake to the Colts running back room. (1:12:08-1:27:45) – ESPN Senior College Football Insider Adam Rittenberg joins Brian and Jimmy on the Fan Midday Show to explain the fallout of all the teams moving out of the PAC-12 last week, if he envisions schools just being conference members in college football and not the other sports to maintain traditions/rivalries, and how television networks can really control who would be in a super league of college football teams like the NFL. (1:27:45-1:35:55) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Brian and Jimmy sharing their thoughts on some of things that Adam Rittenberg said in the previous segment. Then they transition to what JuJu Brents was doing off the field prior to making his practice debut at training camp last week. (1:35:55-2:03:36) – WTHR Sports Anchor Dominic Miranda joins the Fan Midday Show with Brian Noe and Jimmy Cook to highlight his favorite storyline from Colts training camp thus far, his expectation for who starts this weekend for the Colts in the preseason opener, and if he thinks Richardson would be ready to start the first preseason game this weekend in Buffalo. (2:03:36-2:14:32) – Brian and Jimmy continue discuss the Indianapolis Colts in connection to something that Zaire Franklin said yesterday regarding Shaq Leonard’s optimism for week one. Brian compares the Colts situation to being hungry. (2:14:32-2:20:44) – Today’s show ends with Brian sharing a Lionel Messi story and asking Jimmy for his JCook Plays of the Day along with Eddie’s MLB bets for the day!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
