(00:00-23:40) – The show gets rolling on a Thursday with the talented Greg Rakestraw taking over The Fan Midday Show. He briefly looks back at the disappointing losses by Purdue and IU Men’s and Women’s Basketball. Plus, Rake gives his thoughts on the World Baseball Classic last night that saw Japan defeat the United States in the Final and comments about the problem some people have with MLB players participating in the WBC. (23:41-37:16) – The head coach of the Ben Davis Giants Don Carlisle joins the show to take us through the team’s season to this point and look ahead to Saturday’s Class 4A State Title Game. (37:17-42:55) – Hour number one closes with Greg looking ahead to the rest of today’s show and thanking an individual on twitter. Plus, Greg asks us a question surrounding sports history in this state. (42:56-1:07:33) – Hour number two of the program begins with Greg continuing the trip down memory lane by asking listeners what their favorite memory in the old Hoosier Dome / RCA Dome is. (1:07:34-1:18:10) – The Fan’s own Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files stops by to give us the latest on the Indiana Pacers as they prepare to faceoff against the Raptors this evening. Plus, Scott shares what he expects the Pacers roster to look like next season. (1:18:11-1:24:42) – Hour number two ends with Greg revisiting our chat from earlier today on our favorite memories from the Hoosier Dome / RCA Dome. (1:24:43-1:48:54) – The great Matt Taylor, Voice of the Indianapolis Colts, joins the program to give us his thoughts on the Colts moves in free agency to this point. Matt gives us the scouting report on new wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and what he’ll bring to the table in the Colts offense. Plus, Matt talks on which position group he feels the Colts will invest in early in the NFL Draft. Also, Matt shares how much interaction he’s had with new head coach Shane Steichen and his staff. Additionally, Matt discusses how the Colts currently look at cornerback with the team trading Stephon Gilmore to the Cowboys. Also, Matt shares what kind of prep he’s doing ahead of draft day when scouting out what the Colts might do with the 4th pick in the NFL Draft. Later, Matt talks on the overall feeling at West 56th Street and why Colts have reason to be hopeful. (1:48:55-2:01:06) – The always on point Pat Boylan of Bally Sports Indiana and the Pacers Radio Network joins the program to give us his thoughts on tonight’s battle in Toronto against the Raptors. Plus, Pat gives us a preview of the IHSAA Boys Basketball Class 2A State Championship between Linton-Stockton and Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian which he will have the call for on the IHSAA Champions Network and Bally Sports Indiana. (2:01:07-2:05:21) – Wednesday’s show ends with Greg asking Jimmy Cook for the JCook Plays of the Day. Plus, Greg shares a couple of local sports news nuggets to close out the show.
