(00:00-32:26) – The Fan Midday Show opens on a hump day with Jimmy Cook and Scott Agness evaluating what Kevin Pritchard had to say yesterday to the media regarding the future of the franchise, what kind of role Scott envisions for Aaron Nesmith and Jordan Nwora in the future, and what kind of player they think the Pacers need to add to the roster this offseason whether it’s through the draft, trade, or free agency. (32:26-43:56) – After the spending the first segment of the show breaking down the Pacers, they shift to the Indianapolis Colts. Jimmy and Scott evaluate the offseason so far for Chris Ballard with the draft two weeks away from tomorrow. Producer Eddie Garrison chimes in with something that fans should remember when it comes to this part of free agency.   (43:56-52:38) – Hour one concludes with Jimmy and Scott continue discussing the Colts but change the topic to the Colts NOT selecting a quarterback fourth overall. They examine the options Chris Ballard has if he doesn’t have the conviction to select Will Levis OR Anthony Richardson. (52:38-1:24:24) – Former NBA front office executive Dan Purcell joins Jimmy and Scott on the Fan Midday Show this afternoon to give his perspective on the play-in tournament, how challenging it is in today’s NBA for players on the defensive end of the floor, questions the ability of Memphis to make a postseason run, goes over the individual teams that are remaining in the playoffs, and if he feels like that the Indiana Pacers have the ability to make the playoffs as a six seed next season. (1:24:24-1:39:00) – Jimmy and Scott come back from break by pointing out something that Shane Steichen said today when he was asked about Lamar Jackson. Eddie seems to think differently than Jimmy on the chances that could happen, along with when they think the Lamar Jackson domino will fall. (1:39:00-1:45:56) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jimmy and Scott pondering the ideas of where the NFL could host the draft if it came to Indianapolis with some unique ways to promote parts of the city. Additionally, they debate if the NBA will look at the NFL Draft and start moving it around from city to city. (1:45:56-2:15:33) – Senior writer for Colts.com in JJ Stankevitz joins Jimmy and Scott on the Fan Midday Show to break down what Shane Steichen has changed around the Colts complex, how he doesn’t view anything after the Carolina Panthers selecting a quarterback as a guarantee, revisits something that Chris Ballard said about Shane Steichen’s background of quarterbacks that he’s worked with, and one of his biggest takeaways from the owners meeting that wasn’t said by Steichen, Ballard, or Jim Irsay.   (2:15:33-2:28:02) – Jimmy and Scott take something from what DeForest Buckner had to say about his future with the Colts and debunk half of the statement that Buckner made. Additionally, they highlight some of the needs outside of quarterback that the Colts need.
