Luke Easterling Sees Parallels Between Colts and Jags + Mike Chappell Looks Back on Favorite Seasons Covering Colts!
25 Jul 2023
(00:00-27:06) – The Fan Midday Show opens on a Tuesday with Brian Noe opening the show by bringing on producer Eddie Garrison to discuss something they were talking about before the show pertaining to fair food. Then Brian and Eddie transition to the news of Saquon Barkley signing his franchise tag this morning with the New York Giants, explain how it impacts Jonathan Taylor next year, and touch on the Milwaukee Brewers trolling Elly De La Cruz before he launches a monstrous homer. (27:06-41:40) – Brian and Eddie shift their conversation to a team in the AFC South with the Jacksonville Jaguars receiving most of the money on Bet MGM to have to most wins in the entire NFL. They examine the opponents for the Jags and eventually rank the AFC South, NFL South, and NFC North in terms of which division will be the best to worst. (41:40-48:46) – The final hour of the show with Brian Noe and Eddie Garrison on the Fan Midday Show is spent on rookie Vikings WR Jordan Addison being pulled over for going 140 mph because he needed to get home to his dog that was ill. Brian then teaches Eddie on how he should handle being pulled over for speeding in the future. (48:46-1:12:12) – Luke Easterling of Athlon Sports joins the Fan Midday Show with Brian Noe to weigh in on the favorite fair food conversation, debates if the Jacksonville Jaguars hype has gone too far, if he thinks that the Colts could surprise teams in the NFL like the Jags did a season ago with a new head coach and quarterback, and why it wouldn’t shock him if Caleb Williams didn’t go first overall because anything can happen between now and the end of the college/NFL seasons. (1:12:12-1:30:58) – Brian and Eddie continue discussing the parallels between the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars because Brian wants to know if Anthony Richardson would be able to turn the Colts around in his rookie season. Additionally, Eddie breaks the news of Jim Harbaugh facing a four-game suspension for violation. (1:30:58-1:36:27) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Brian telling a story to Eddie of this lady from My Strange Addiction where she is addicted to eating toilet paper. (1:36:27-2:02:52) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, of CBS4/FOX59 makes his weekly stop on the Fan Midday Show to recap which season was his favorite and least favorite in his forty years of covering the team, debates if the Saquon Barkley situation being handled today will have an impact on Jonathan Taylor next season, and which training camp he will be monitoring league wide and with the Indianapolis Colts. (2:02:52-2:14:27) – Yesterday it was reported that former Colts RB Nyheim Hines suffered a jet ski. This makes Brian want to know if Eddie has suffered any major injuries during his young lifetime. (2:14:27-2:20:17) – Brian closes out the show by asking Eddie for a couple plays of the day in Major League Baseball!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
