Joseph James O'Connor, known online as "PlugwalkJoe," orchestrated a high-profile cyberattack that compromised over 130 Twitter accounts belonging to prominent figures such as Barack Obama, Elon Musk, Joe Biden, and Apple. So this celebrity leaked her own nudes and somehow this kid went to prison. Now the kid goes by the name Plugwalk Joe and he's 19 during this time and he's a hacker living in England. And Plugwalk Joe wants what a lot of people want. Money and internet attention. So one day in 2018 he uses his hacking skills and he starts targeting well-known people.
Like, he starts off by hacking Logan Paul's YouTube channel, then he hacks Logan Paul's Twitter account, and on the Twitter account he tweets as Logan to Logan's followers that if they want to see Logan Paul's sex tape to follow PlugWalkJoe. Which is stupid, but I don't know, it's kind of funny. The next year, in 2019, he and his hacker buddies target a cryptocurrency company based in Manhattan.
And they use a SIM-swapping technique and they take over the phones of some of the employees there. And doing this, they're able to steal $794,000 worth of crypto from this company. Was gut für PlugWalkJoe ist, weil er jetzt ein bisschen Geld hat. Und er könnte sich schlafen lassen und all dieses neue Geld genießen, aber das ist nicht, was PlugWalkJoe macht.

Er hackt King Bach, er hackt James Charles, er hackt Chloe Grace Moretz. Und er postet ein paar etwas random, trollige Sachen. Nichts zu nefarious. Es scheint wirklich, als ob sie nur ein paar Lachen versuchen. But after that, he and his hacking buddies, they go after an even bigger target. Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and then CEO of Twitter. And so they hack him.
And of course, they just use his account to shout themselves out and post a bunch of racial slurs. Dann hackt PlugWalkJoe das Handy der Schauspielerin Bella Thorne mit einer Sim-Swap-Technik. Und durch das bekommt er Zugang zu ihrer Twitter-Account und er beginnt, dumme Scheiße zu tweeten, seine Account wieder rauszuschreien. Folgt meinem Kumpel PlugTalkJoe.
Aber er bekommt auch Zugang zu ihrer Snapchat. Und dort bekommt er Zugang zu ihren intimen Fotos, die sie für ihren Freund, ihre Nudes, genommen hat. Und ich glaube, er beginnt, ihr Handy zu teilen, weil er alle ihre Informationen hat. Und er versucht, sie zu verbrechen. Er beantragt, dass sie ein öffentliches Video macht, um ihn zu danken und ihn in all seinen Freundeskonten zu taggen.
Und wenn sie das nicht macht, dann wird er natürlich ihre Nudes veröffentlichen. Und Bella Thorne, die wahrscheinlich ein bisschen verdammt ist, weil sie sich nicht mehr verbrechen will, und sie ist so, f*** dich, und sie veröffentlichen alle ihre Nudes selbst. Sie postet sie alle auf Twitter. Also gut für sie. Aber egal, PlugWalkJoe geht einfach weiter.
