This week, we’re diving into the story of the ultimate history girly: Joan of Arc. Born to a peasant farmer, Joan started receiving visits from saints (yes, really) at just 13 years old. These visions that told her to lead France to victory in the Hundred Years’ War. By 17, she was doing exactly that. But things took a turn when she was captured, tried for heresy, and burned at the stake...basically for being a woman in charge and wearing pants. Classic. We honor Joan, her bravery, and the legacy that led to her sainthood.
