Good morning. Welcome to the NBA Daily for November 20th, 2024. Coming up, the Cavs, no longer undefeated. Those things end, you know. We had NBA Cup Week 2 group play, big night. And we're going to get to some listener questions and figure out who needs a shake-up drink. Good morning, everybody. Good morning, Zena.
Woo, we had a busy NBA Cup night, although a little bit of an NBA dud night, if I'm being honest, Zena. You know, we've got a lot of guys injured. Just no Wemba Nyama, no Chad Holmgren in that matchup.
Not too many stars out tonight.
Yeah, but I know the Cavs-Celtics, we did get a nice payoff there. We got Jared Weiss to talk about that game and the Sixers drama, since he dropped a story on that. We got that coming up after the break. But Zena, we got to talk NBA Cup because... These courts are just killing me.
That is my biggest takeaway from the NBA Cup is, yes, I know it's an NBA Cup game because, frankly, I have trouble watching some of these. The Mavericks game, for instance, that blue court is nearly impossible for me to watch on my TV. I have to actually put it on my iPad. That's the screen that I can use.
I actually, I, of all the courts, like I appreciate the teams that leaned into their team colors and did like a rich color. So I liked the Mavs court. I liked Boston's court last night when they play against the Cavs. I, I appreciate the Knicks court, that orange, but I didn't, I don't appreciate the lack of ingenuity with some of these teams. There's like five yellow courts. Yeah.
And then yellow with yellow trim, like, Three-point lines are yellow within a yellow court. I'm a dog mom. I don't want to see what my dog puts out every day on the sidewalk on a court, okay? It's just not pleasing to the eye.
