Coach Larranaga has been head basketball coach at the University of Miami since 2011. Previously, he served as the head men's basketball coach at American International College, Bowling Green State University, and George Mason University. At George Mason he had 14 consecutive winning seasons and led the Patriots' improbable run to the Final Four in 2006. Larrañaga won several national coach of the year awards in 2013, when Miami won the ACC regular season and ACC tournament. Larranaga has won over 600 games as a head coach.
