But last August, Trump repealed that order, encouraging further consolidation in the agricultural sector. Meanwhile, American farmers are frustrated over Trump’s decision to bail out Argentina with $40 billion and his tariff policies that pushed China to buy soybeans elsewhere, including from Argentina. And when reporters press Trump on the topic, he gets noticeably defensive.
