In the summer of 2019, the FBI rang the doorbell of Jeffrey Epstein's 40-room, eight-story townhouse in Manhattan. And it was never exactly clear why they bothered to ring the doorbell, given that they were looking for sensitive evidence that could easily be destroyed. But that's what they did. And then when no one answered, agents forced entry.
And once they were inside, they found a safe that they cut open with a saw. So they came prepared. And ultimately, agents discovered several hard drives and CDs in the residence, both inside and outside the safe. And additionally, they found numerous black binders with mysterious white labels.
