And I don't think people should feel bad about eating meat because that's not what my platform is about at all. I take a step back and I go, hold on. Look at the health benefits that come from fiber. Look at the way in which this can power our microbiome. And here we are, and 95% of America is deficient in fiber.
And if we're going to say, okay, what kind of changes do we want to make on a public health level that can improve the health of America? We need to start with the things that are missing. So if you make your platform about something that people are already doing, what's the point, right? If I want to actually pull a lever that can impact a person's health,
really the most powerful lever is gonna be the one that's a combination of a powerful tool that simultaneously they're not doing.
If a person's already exercising, you can tweak those approaches, you can make them better, you can make them more efficient, but you're not gonna get the benefits that you would get in the way that you would if you take a person who's sitting on the couch and you get them up and moving.
Today on the podcast, we have Dr. Will Bulsiewicz. Dr. B, welcome back.
Oh, thank you, Nick. It's good to see you in person for the first time.
It's been a while since we, our first podcast was probably over two years ago at this point.
Oh yeah, I think it was even more than that. I mean, time is flying. It feels like the pandemic just like sort of made things go either fast or slow.
