Full Episode
Good morning, millennials!
Welcome back to the Chose, and happy Tuesday. That feels like a Monday, because I'm back in my studio for the first time, landed, hopped up the plane at LAX. Literally, every time I leave your house, and again, no slight against you, I'm so happy to be home. I feel disgusting. I wish I never left. It's monsooning in New York. My flight was four hours delayed. Or you wish you never left me.
Yeah, like, this sucks, dude. This blows, even though I hate podcasting with you in person. Like, the remaining episodes are going to be so much better this week because we're apart, and that's why I had to leave.
No, I agree. We have gotten into such a good groove with remote podcasting, and I realize, like, what it is. When we're together, like, we're having so much fun. We don't want to stop and work. However, when we're apart, it's like, I would never be like, hey, let's do it a little late today. Like, I respect your schedule, and you respect mine. Like, I know you made a lot happen to get there. Like,
we are too scared of each other so lazy together we're so lazy together because we just want to like be together but when we're apart we're like too scared of the other to just like say screw the schedule no and the schedule is what keeps us alive like but when i'm at your house or you're here it's just like whatever like i hate podcasting with you in person so as much as i hated flying home and like leaving my family and like waking up without the boys in my bed like it was horrible
It is the right thing to do so we can churn out premium episodes, four more episodes until the end of Toast season one. I forget, six? Seven? I feel like at the beginning of the year we thought it was seven and it was actually six because remember we celebrated six years of Toast.
Hold on. Our episode called Season of the Six. Let me just look in the podcast app and tell you what year that was. In the podcast app they'll just tell you what season you're on. Oh, that too. Okay. That would have been much smarter, but now I'm too far deep. We are just season of the six was 2023. This is season seven and next season will be season eight. Wow.
Oh, do you know that on Apple podcasts, like when you go to the page of a podcast that you're looking at, they give you different details and it says the hosts and guests and people's face comes up. It says our show is hosted by Claudia Ashtray and Jackie Ashtray. And our recurring guest is Goldie Hawn.
So that just has to do with the things that we talk about. Their AI isn't that smart, and they just think, oh, we talked about Goldie Hawn. Maybe she was on the show. It gets a little confusing, but I'm not mad about it. Yeah, Goldie Hawn was on the show. What if we just reached out to Goldie? Made it true. Made it true. Made honest men out of Apple. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
