Last week, Cowessess Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan announced that they have found 751 potential unmarked graves on the grounds of the Marieval Indian Residential School. The school was in operation for nearly 100 years and used as a site to strip First Nation children of their cultures to forcefully assimilate them into a white, Christian world.
