TV AGRO

.Identidad a través del folklore, el arte y las tradiciones- TvAgro por Juan Gonzalo Angel Restrepo

16 Nov 2025

Description

The Peruvian High Jungle has been populated by migrants from all over the country and the world. In the 1980s, the Shipibo Konibo arrived in Tingo María for the first time, bringing their crafts and culture with them. In 2000, they formed their first native community in the Huánuco region, called Soi Biri. Over the years, crafts have been of great importance to the Shipibo people, as they represent their customs, history, and identity.
