16 Apr 2025

Later in life, Miss Kay would cook and bring one of those squirrels for TV host Wendy Williams to try and it didn’t go over well. Laela Dasher Skinner and Reeves Walker, leaders of Sadie Robertson’s LO Worship, open up about how their personal struggles have shaped both their faith and their music. Laela reflects on her “American Idol” journey, and together they explore how this next generation of worship leaders is getting back to the basics of Jesus. The crew reflects on how to praise God in both the high moments and the hardest seasons of life. In this episode: Job 1, verses 20-22 — Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

I am unashamed. What about you? So welcome back to Unashamed. I was mentioning that I was on a previous podcast. I was in Nebraska earlier this week, and it was interesting because we were they'd sent a note. You know, there's people that kind of handle us going places. And so she sent me a note from the organizer of the event.
She said that they were wearing all of their board members and because this is a pregnancy center. And all of our board members and the staff of this little small place was wearing camo. for the event. And so she didn't say anything about us, but instantly when I received that, I thought, well, why would they tell me that? Are they wanting us to wear camo?

I said, do you want us to wear camo? Because, you know, we can wear it. And she said, oh, well, that's up to y'all. But, yeah, that would be great.
What's the difference between me and you? I don't ask. That's all you wear. Well, 90% of my wardrobe is camo.
Well, you got camo shoes, like slippers.
Yeah. You miss y'all?
Oh, yeah. Yeah, he kicked his foot up.
