28 Apr 2025
Jase can’t help but laugh when Phil surprises him with a birthday request that's funny, sweet, and completely unexpected. The guys celebrate the floodwaters that finally let them move their duck blinds after years of waiting. Jase recounts his rare moment of second-guessing while navigating the floods—and his decision to strap on a life jacket just in case. The Bible study digs deep into Deuteronomy and how the importance of both the physical and spiritual world are represented by the life and words of Jesus. I am unashamed. What about you?
Welcome back to Unashamed. Zach, it's always good when we start out the podcast, wherever you get going, Jay's playing the role of Mr. Blackwell. Always has some commentary on mine and yours. What were our attire?
I didn't realize that I got both of you in one shot.
If you're watching the podcast today, I'm wearing a rather loud shirt that says Gulf of America on it. So Jace will give me a hard time. And as that comes on with this Elmer Fudd. Orange Hat.
That our lovely producer, young Matty, was asking if he had any alternative hats. I defended you, Zach. I said no.
I wouldn't call that a defense, but you did answer for me.
I did. I said, deer season is coming up in four or five months.
I think the hat is hard for coloring is what I've been told. And I forgot that they asked me not to wear it.
Zach, it's an inner thing. I think we've been going through John 6, which is difficult. And we all are surrounded by people who say yes. And so, Zach, I think it's subliminal. because me and Al will say no. Which we all need those people in our life, you know, because there's only one yes man. I think, what is that, 1 Corinthians 1?
