A month ago, Britain, France and Germany warned Iran snapback sanctions would apply if Tehran did not take steps to halt its nuclear program, including the resumption of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, part of the 2015 deal under which Iran agreed to curtail its advancement.

The United Nations nuclear watchdog says Iran has increased its stockpile of uranium enriched to near weapons-grade levels. And the International Atomic Energy Agency is calling on Tehran to quickly change course and comply with the agency's probe.
