Now, Lee, renowned mycologist, so I'm hoping you've brought some delicious chanterelle, a tasty chunk of black truffle. What have you got for us? Broadly speaking, I've got wood rotting fungi. Does what it says on the tin? Set the scene. Basically, fungi are some of the only organisms that can eat wood, so nothing else out there can do it. If flies can do it, there's a fungus in their gut that's doing it, so don't give me that look.
