right when they take care of shit when they need to this was hard earned this was the hard road they didn't uh need to shout about being an alpha they just took care of shit they walk with their heads high because they were useful because they have a skill and they use that skill to earn competence and respect they didn't walk into every room saying i'm a badass i'm an alpha i'm a badass i'm an alpha that's fucking gay that's lame that's not what real true men do
That's the battle we're in right now.
It's not men versus women.
It's not men versus women.
It never has been and never should be.
The alliance between men and women is the most important alliance we have.
The battle is between performative masculinity, which only benefits the grifters, versus genuine masculinity, which benefits everyone.
That is the battle, performative masculinity, which only benefits the grifters versus genuine masculinity, which benefits everyone.
It's the strength to be competitive and strong, but also the strength to be vulnerable and helpful.
That is literally the definition of being a warrior poet.
At the end of the day, right, this is what matters most to me.
At the end of the day, my son, who is eight months old, doesn't know anything about the culture wars or the manosphere or any of that other bullshit.
What he does know is that he just sees me, what his dad does
on a regular day-to-day basis.
And I am obligated, morally obligated to model that behavior for him.
And so this whole episode, everything I've shared with you is just a reminder and a lesson to me about who I wanna be as a man, who I wanna be as a man and what I want to instill in my son.
So this is a constant reminder to me about who I wanna be and how I wanna be it.
Because the most important thing, as I stated,
is that I want to live this, use this value as a filter for all of my actions.
And I want to teach this to my son most importantly, is that as a real man, we leave the world better than we found it.
