Can I get them back?
Relationships are probably the most important thing, but I also want to pursue this thing.
And so, you know, every person is going to experience that differently, but I certainly know that, uh, anytime I do something, I have a win in my life.
The first people I want to share with are the people that love me the most because they get more excited than even I do.
And that's like the, the most cool part about achieving anything, you know, whether it's like a, you know, I don't know, something with a podcast or some, whatever random shit is that is, but, um, yeah, it's, it's, but it's hard.
It's
know be focused on this task and also build the relationships and also take care of your health and also care about the suffering in the world and also do this and that it could feel like it could be like extremely overwhelming you know especially you know in today's current climate but anyways yeah no i think it's you know it's interesting i mean it's so important to keep that balance but it's also going back to kind of what we talked about a little before the show but
Yeah, I mean, I think it can be it can be really paralyzing for people to see the world as it is and feel like they have no impact on it.
And so and then they go down to maybe what you're saying, kind of like the everyday interaction level.
They still can't really see the tangible results of their possible good deed.
Um, and we as human beings like to see the result of something because inherently doing something good for someone else is basically selfish because it makes ourselves feel good, uh, which is not a problem.
That's a fine, that's a fine motivator.
Um, so what would you maybe say to someone who like, you know, wants to impact the world, but feel sort of paralyzed by it, but also can't really see the sort of the tangible downstream effects of,
of like smiling at a stranger at the supermarket because that seems meaningless if everyone around me in the world is like dying or something, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah, there's so much downstream effect to doing that.
One thing, you know, and, you know, because it can be right, sort of, again, paralyzing to not be able to impact whatever thing is most important to you.
But you certainly it can impact the people around you, the small community.
You have an influence over yourself.
I mean, those things are so important.
