three four days it's it doesn't happen anywhere else really and i think that's why from a neutral point of view we love the playoff so much but you know it's how you react to in that first leg you can easily go and get beat um it's how you sort of react to that and then go again in the second leg so i think perseverance is a massive thing and and that mentality that daryl's just touched upon there to have that sort of mentality to go the distance and know that
You're not beating until you're beating.
It's not over till it's over, that type of mentality.
So I think they're the two sort of takeaways I take from the playoffs, perseverance and mentality.
So let's get our first voice note of the night as we bring you some EFL playoff memories from some of the EFL's most recognisable voices.
We'll start with 72-plus regular West Bromwich Albion captain Jed Wallace with his top playoff memories.
That is Jeb Wallace, who better to speak to about the miracle of Hillsborough than the Sheffield Wednesday manager at the time.
Darren Moore is with us on 72 Plus this evening.
How are you, Darren?
Yes, evening, Aaron.
Evening, gents.
Good to see you all.
Great to have you on with us.
I mean, take us back to that incredible night.
First off, actually, take us back to the first leg because I remember interviewing you and you were adamant it wasn't over and it really wasn't.
Now, I can remember that, Aaron, obviously you was there and I appreciate it because, I mean, I had to keep my focus, but you were so distraught for me at the time when you was interviewing me because you don't never think you're going to go to Peterborough and lose four, but we did.
But I was adamant, as you said, really, that it was half-time and there was still a second leg to play.
And I remember me saying to the boys in the dressing room, I said, listen, gents, I promise you now, you'll leave it all on the pitch at Hillsborough.
That I can guarantee.
We're going to go out.
