Sheffield Wednesday actually released the full four hours of the television coverage of it.
The most poignant bit, though, is Sheffield Wednesday seeing Hi-Ho Silver lining by Jeff Beck before a game.
And there's one man clapping and singing along and getting the crowd going for the game.
And that was when you knew something was going to go on.
That was a touch of genius, Darren.
Now, what it is, Darren, is that I really bought into the fan base, the culture, the football club and the area, the city.
And one thing I wanted to say to you is that
Aaron, I've never seen a fan base that wherever you go in the city and whatever generation of fan you are at Sheffield Wednesday, it was that same real passion and commitment from them wherever I went in the city.
And what happened was...
that on that season and that night, I think we had 33,500 in there.
And so the passion, what the fans had, I knew at that football club that it was important to really deliver and to deliver well that season.
We'd missed out the season before against Sunderland.
So for the second year running, we were back in there and this time we wanted to believe everything on the Hillsborough pitch and we did.
So my engagement with the fans was from day one, was right in there with them, committed to the cause in terms of bringing that club back into the championship.
And you've got to remember that when I joined the club, it was after the back of COVID.
So there was a real dispel between the fans and the players and the commitment to the football club.
So it was about bridging and bringing that back together and bringing everything on board.
As the manager of the football club, and I suppose the one person that speaks week in, week out, it was important to keep them messages consistent with the fans and obviously the team displaying full commitment on the pitch, really to get that club back into what we felt at the time would be the championship.
