the barrel extension and your index pin will dig into the side of your threaded portion on your upper now I will say that it is going steel to steel right so like the steel of this tool goes into the steel of your chamber yeah but it doesn't matter what it's made out of the barrel extension

on the barrel is hooked into the rod, right?

Yeah.

And then you're turning the barrel nut on the, which is, which is pinching the face of the barrel extension.

And then also is on the putting pressure on the threads on the upper.

So as you twist that barrel nut, it'll try to twist the upper with it.

So I love this style.
