And so it's going to kind of be around that time.
In terms of longer term, like what to do with Max Scherzer, like it is a tricky situation because as you say, he is Max Scherzer.
He has obviously an incredible career, incredible resume, and he kind of deserves to be able to, I don't know, not necessarily call his shots, but he deserves the chance to
fully know if his body can handle the grind of starting every fifth day and things like that.
And so it has been a tough slog for him this year because when he has been healthy, the results haven't been there.
And then to some extent, you think that, well...
Maybe the results haven't been there because he has been injured with that forearm thing earlier in the year.
But I remember I was at his last start against Philly.
And the one thing that he kind of repeated and was adamant about was that he did feel really healthy his last start out.
He felt really, really good physically.
And that was the reason that was causing him optimism, even though the results weren't there and it wasn't,
wasn't the best start from him.
So it is a very tricky situation because it just feels like it's constantly maybe one step forward, two steps back with him this year.
But, you know, I think the Blue Jays still have enough time
they're, I wouldn't say the word lucky, but I guess they're just in a situation where they don't quite have to make a hard decision quite yet.
And, you know, maybe they still won't, like maybe Patrick Corbin will continue to struggle and it will seem like his time is maybe up and then you insert shirts.
Like, I don't know.
I think ultimately the big picture is the Blue Jays will have to go out and get a starter at the trade deadline.
I think that is
the situation, just the fifth starter spot.
