That's true. There may be rats. This is a dystopia.
Ah, they did it. Yeah.

Well, dude, I'm one of these guys where I generally, unless I'm really dialed into a game, I'm hitting X to get through all the dialogue as quick as possible. And this game isn't real rich on cut scenes. I don't think there's many cut scenes at all in the first one anyways. But the dialogue is so witty and engaging that I listen to every single line of dialogue in it.

Absolutely. Dude, it is a masterpiece. And it actually has a very specific purpose too. Like Switch is still one of my favorite systems. Prior to coming on the podcast and meeting with you fine gentlemen, I used to travel a lot for work and for pleasure but traveling a lot. Like my wife and I were traveling β

At least a couple of times a month and spending a lot of time in airplanes and airports and stuff. And Hades might be the ultimate like travel slash short time game. You can like pick it up over and over again and play it as long as you want or as short as you want and have like a memorable, worthwhile experience with it. And, uh, bro, the, I mean, for a roguelike, it is absolute perfection.

There's so many different ways that you can approach every single level and boss. I, I generally tend to favor you, Ryan, where I'm like, I don't want to die a hundred times fighting millennia. Like that, that upsets me. Like I get upset at the game. Hades dude. I plowed right through that to the end, man. That's the one thing I've got on Josh is that I beat Hades and he did not.
