Like there's one school of thought is that AI will completely wipe us off the face of the earth and it won't do it for nefarious reasons, right?

It'll do it because, for example, we program it to say like, hey,

rid the world of pollution well what's the first thing that we're the worst right we're the number one cause of pollution we are the polluters so the first thing logically would be destroy all humans and you know what it would be right because we we we don't take care of this this this earth so destroy us this did you ever watch uh the sci-fi series that seth mcfarland did called the orville

Yeah.

It's completely logical.

But there is another school of thought that AI will just keep us around because it will find some type of use for us.

Hmm.

Then there's a third school of thought where all those are ridiculous and that AI actually has no motivation to destroy us.

Like there's no underlying motivation there.

So why would it do that?

And anybody who thinks that it would, it's just really just like a doomsayer.

Right.

Speaking of guns, did you know that Sam Allman has a he has a collection of assault rifles?

He's a gun nut.

He has a giant collection of assault rifles and grenades and all kinds of crazy stuff in his house.

One of his houses in Big Sur.

And he's he's like a prepper.

He's a doomsday prepper.

I thought that was a really interesting fact.
