And, you know, he was running the crews.

And, you know, I was thinking, you know, my dad being head of the crews, you know, I get to go eat lunch with him.

Like he had me in the mud doing all this shit.

And if I was ever taking a break, he was really hard on me.

And I appreciate that a lot because going back, you know, he always said, you know, he wanted to make it so hard on me to where whenever I got older in life, you know, that was something that I strived for to be better than –

having to bust my ass 12 hours a day in the concrete and doing stuff like that in the Texas sun.

So I appreciate him for that, man.

He had some life lessons for me in working in the road construction business.

People think it's real important to expose kids to everything.

They have to be exposed to music and dance and art and stuff.

But I think it's more important to expose them to shit they don't want to do.

And not just for one hour, but for days.

Yeah, absolutely.

And the best lessons I ever got was just doing shit I didn't want to do.

And that's motivated me.

I was like, I don't want to do this shit.

Especially...

Construction, because you're out there, you're out in the sun, it's dirty, it's a little dangerous.

You're working with people.
