Like you watched Marcus Herbert play yesterday.
Yeah, he looked good.
did some good things and he's a rip unit.
So he's been preparing for this, you know, over the last three or four years after being overlooked.
And we've seen guys now, it's why there's a couple of, you know, discussions about, you know, raising the draft age or, you know,
Picking, recruiting players, I'd be looking at, you know, the first round of the AFL draft is your locks, generally your locks.
So your first 20 players are going to play some, you know, you'd hope you get 200 games out of them and they're going to play in their first year or...
maybe 30 games in their first two years or something like that.
Outside of that, you should start to look at recruiting players who are 21 and 22 years of age.
In national draft you're talking?
In the national draft, yeah.
Because you're starting to get speculative picks when you're into the 40s already.
So you're better off picking a player that's 22 and been in the VFL or state league system and they've built their body and done those extra pre-seasons.
They're hungry for it.
And they're ready to go.
You don't have to put three years of development into them to see if they can play because you know what you're getting from them straight away.
So do you go back and actually have a look at the week leading into the Sydney game?
Because, I mean, you've been pulling away.
Your injury list is horrid.
It's long and it's extensive.
