I know there's been a bit of doom and gloom about it, and they're going to lose potentially their best two players.
Connor Rosey's out.
But the footy that they're playing at the moment under Josh Carr, I mean, the only thing that has hurt them is that execution late in game.
So, I mean, they've been right in it.
So for a side that is, you know, bottom four at the minute, we could be talking about them in a completely different vein.
Well, particularly when, I mean, if you have a look at Port Adelaide side, if you're not watching them regularly, there's sort of eight to 10 players.
You'd have no idea who they are.
So they've got some no-names and some kids that have been brought up quickly and they're playing footy and developing in their teens, which is great for Port Adelaide's future.
It's a bit like when I started at the Bulldogs in 2004.
I mean, some of these guys are probably not ready to be playing
senior footy at the moment but because they've got such a young list and they've got some injuries that these guys get opportunities so in you know two years time when they've got 40 to 50 games under their belt then they start to go bang you start to feel at home at the level after three or four years in the system you're strong you've done some pre-seasons and you're able to run out games a lot better and you're able to match it with you know the better players in the competition so if you look at
those players last night compared to how Sydney won the game.
Well, Sydney won the game because of... Their stars.
Three or four of their stars.
Yeah, their stars.
Warner goes mad in the last quarter.
Grundy goes mad.
And Heaney has another big night.
So, they just couldn't match it with the A-graders from Sydney late in the game to execute.
