you know that to be true sometimes you wonder where did 15 or 30 years just go?
but I want you to observe a future
happening at that same speed what happens is this version of you thriving or merely surviving just observe and see that future maybe 10 years from now older less options
has all of that loyalty been rewarded?
has it been an investment?
or has it been something where you've pouring yourself into a well that can never be filled?
just observe and perhaps then see longer into the future maybe
work or business turns into retirement now there's more time more time together is that precious moments of connection or something else just observe and as the observer allow the emotions to let you feel is this a future you wish for
or a future you wish to avoid I want you to see yourself at the very end of your life, the last few months regrets give clues and just imagine you have a private moment with you at the end of your life no one else there
and you as the invisible observer, then become tangible, real, and just ask that future version of you, when there's just days or weeks left of your existence, what do you wish you could have done differently, and I want you to think,
if at some point you figured out you were on the wrong bus or the wrong train how long do you stay on that wrong bus or that wrong train until you get off and you move in the direction that you actually want to move toward
hug that older version of you, listen to their regrets, listen to their frustrations or perhaps what they're grateful for just listen tell them they are loved and then float all the way back in time through that door find yourself in that stone building but this time
this time you will observe a different future a future where things get better see yourself walking through that second door and perhaps in the next few weeks you observe that version of you facilitating a conversation perhaps about
what's working, what isn't working, not with an axe to grind, not with resentment, frustration, but a pragmatic, curious tonality, let's look at where things are, what we're happy with, what we're not happy with, what we like, what we don't like,
I want you to imagine a constructive conversation filled with honesty not narratives that are fake agendas but pure honesty because at some level honesty
honesty can lead to accountability accountability can lead to change and I want you to imagine imagine a conversation about how things are and it might take several attempts to have that conversation but see yourself with tenacity
Resilience.
An effort.
To see.
If this game is winnable.
