Like it's not a done deal.

And so when I, when I talk to VCs, when I talk to people in the space, it's like, this is not a solved problem, especially when we're seeing like success in the L1 space.

Like if you look at something like a hyperliquid as an example,

Created an immense amount of value, captured that value very successfully, but it took them multi millions of dollars.

I don't have any inside information.

I'm just making some broad assumptions here.

It takes some millions of dollars and at least 18 months to pull off.

You know, wouldn't it be great if everybody had that option to create a billion dollar protocol that could capture value?

if they could just focus on their application and forget all like the hard to manage complexities under the hood, like that is the promise of Canopy.

And until we're able to do that, this is not a closed case.

I think we're boring folks when it comes to that.

Like we set out to build this nearly two years ago and we've been doing the same thing ever since.

Now, the idea has evolved in slight ways, but I think the focus has always been make the entire end to end process as easy as humanly possible.

And so while we're not chasing necessarily a meta or chasing the latest thing, like we've been stubbornly consistent on what matters to us and that's developer experience.

And you know, like it kind of sucks because like if we were a privacy chain, I could go raise, you know, $5 million for that.

No problem.

If we were a predictions market or an application specific blockchain for predictions, I can find the money.

But being kind of this stubborn, maybe out of the meta play, it provides or presents serious barriers to being successful.

And honestly, it's kind of a shame because I see real builders out there building valuable stuff with actual usage.
