He just will not have it.

Yeah, but that's not why Brian's being so obstinate.

Recently, one of his big ideas to deal with some poorly performing land was to store caravans on it.

Oh, don't worry.

He gave up on it fairly quickly.

It's not about different farming outlooks, though.

He's just disagreeing because I'm the one suggesting it.

How am I meant not to when he can't bear to hand over the reins?

Then why was he going to make me his successor?

Why was he going to leave me all the land?
