Say, you know, examples where people might be asked...
Show us how you used your initiative or how you solved a conflict or solved a problem.
You know, it might put people on the spot.
Some would struggle to think of a good example.
So they fluff their way through that.
Or maybe they'll exaggerate because they feel the need to come up with a better story.
But if they're given a bit of time to think about it, they get it straight in their head.
They'd actually give a constructive real world example, which would be better for them and the company.
And John Lewis says it's saving them time as well because people get a better idea of the company, better idea of the job.
And if they realise before they've even applied, this isn't a fit for me.
So they save everybody time by not applying.
Yeah, so it's essentially a kind of broad push by the European Union to try and encourage more manufacturing and production in Europe in order to boost the economy here, but also, and maybe more importantly, to reduce the bloc's reliance on other countries.
And at the heart of it is the Industrial Accelerator Act, which was published last month, and it proposes a fairly significant shift in priorities for EU countries.
For example, as things stand, there are very strict rules around public tenders and procurement above a certain value.
So they have to be open to everyone.
You can't favour, you know, a local bidder, a bidder from your country over one from another country.
And ultimately, you have to focus on the price.
That's what you're looking for.
Countries would now be required to focus less on price and more on both the emissions involved and the location.
