There's just a lot of storylines to this game.
There's just so much, man.
And I'm telling you, I'm going to vent real quick.
The first thing is a complaint.
The freaking Nuggets and the Timberwolves.
If the NBA was good at telling their own stories, this would be the game of the first round.
I truly think it's the best series in the first round.
And somehow they gave it the matinee slot, which so happens to be at the exact same time that Messi is filling out the stadium in Denver.
You know, he plays here in Denver against the Rapids.
They have 60,000 plus people have bought tickets to that game.
Same time.
Somehow they're burying what I think should be the best game of the first round that has built-in storylines, and they're like, no, we have to put Lakers Rockets, which nobody cares about, and everybody's banged up.
I just had to vent to get this off.
But the series is like so many storylines.
They go seven.
I'm with you in that I actually feel really good about it, and for slightly different reasons, or I should say in addition to the reasons you laid out.
And one of those is that I think Denver was better than Minnesota back in 2024.
I think they weren't as tough.
