And so to your point, I think Nuggets Nation should be feeling the way you're feeling right now.

They should be feeling like that's the team we always knew was in there buried somewhere.

I'm going to rewind the clock two years.

You guys all remember the Nuggets defending their title.

And they go on a run to secure the one seed.

All they have to do is beat a couple tanking teams down the stretch.

One of those teams was the San Antonio Spurs.

And right before the ending, which would have set up a nice, beautiful little path to the finals, they trip up and they lose this game to San Antonio, get themselves a matchup on a tough side of the bracket, and they end up falling in seven games to the Timberwolves second round.

I think the timber, the spurs might've just, or the nuggets might've just repaid that, that favor because the spurs had themselves a nice path to the finals.
