One thing he has similar to Gerrard when he plays in that deeper role, he's got a tendency to empty the position.
He's everywhere, OK?
And I'm not sure that entirely suits what Viet will need behind him, particularly if his partner, if it is Gravenberg, who I actually think...
Gravenberg is a mercurial player who's playing in a position that's quite fixed.
I don't think necessarily.
Him playing in the six gave us a temporary solution, but I don't think it's a solution to actually the best use of his attributes or his skills.
I think he's more than that.
I also think that he's potentially been a little bit found out since the turn of the year last year when Liverpool play him as the lone six.
And I think Gravenbeck feels better, plays better when he's got a little bit of a freedom.
He's got that natural instinct to move forward as well and try and move through the lines.
So there's a huge question mark then about what you're doing, about the building blocks behind Viet.
If you're going to go all in on this lad, what are you doing there?
And I think until Liverpool solve those other problems, none of the other stuff around the periphery, around the wings, is going to make that much sense anyway.
You've got to solve this now in the centre of the park.
No, I think there's two players that spring to mind for me as the most obvious moves for Liverpool to make.
I mean, the Alisse one's obviously a dream scenario.
Every club in Europe would have him.
Of course he would.
Bayern Munich are going to want to keep him and there just seems to be an unnecessary little bit of needle between Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
From Bayern Munich's side, because of the Verts transfer... I blame Bayern Space entirely, to be honest.
