I got a little emotional for a minute.

I felt for some of my guys that are injured.

People just kept hitting me with the perfect questions, asking me about this guy or that guy.

And it's like, well, I can't tell you everything, but I can say this is a little interesting.

With the Nimmo part of it, my whole point was,

oh, he's in a trade rumor?

That's not going to sit right.

He's a proud guy.

And that's how it ended up playing out.

He was offended that he was in the trade rumor, and then he got offended enough to waive his no trade clause and went to the Rangers.

So I wasn't wrong, but all I said was he's going to be offended by that because he's a proud player.

And in the moment, I didn't think it was very controversial, but I didn't realize that other people maybe didn't know that.
