School was like a social place that I went to set up all the same.

That's exactly how I thought about school until I went to college.

I went to college late in life.

But all growing up, school was a place to like see my friends, hang out, flirt with boys, pass notes, show off my clothes and shoes, check out other people's clothes and shoes.

I was like, and then it was like, how long are we gonna have to be in this classroom to learn something?

And for me, it was also like, OK, well, if I'm going to school today, then I'm doing this.
