Yeah.
I needed to find out where the hell he lived.
And then I needed to, I realise now, commit the unthinkable.
I would be willing to do the mandatory life sentence that I've been fighting for.
But my daughter would be safe and sound living her life.
That's what I would have done differently.
I cannot give that advice to others.
I've been saying from day one and I've said it to many of our bureaucrats.
If you don't change things, if you don't put preventative measures in place, and when it can't be prevented, if you don't hand out, if you don't start focusing more on punishment, we're talking about murder, rather than rehabilitation, you are going to turn law-abiding citizens into something else.
That's how I feel.
I have to be honest about that.
But it's not advice I can give people.

Starting with politicians who have refused to implement recommendations that have been tabled for years now that could
Provide victims with support.
There's a lot of recommendations in there for victims.
There's surveillance for victims, checking their phones to see if they've been tracked.
