you're going to detect through whether it's an ankle bracelet or some other device, but through electronic monitoring.
That has been dismissed altogether.
Our premier here in Victoria in 2024 announced that electronic monitoring would not be implemented.
She did state her reasons.
Her reasons were it would give women a false sense of security.
It wasn't in the judge's comments because it wasn't in the opening summary from the prosecution because it was that first time into the police station.
It was never recorded.
I have no idea.
That's part, I suppose, of what the coronial inquest should be investigating.
We did all of it together.
