But I feel like the Oilers kind of learned a lesson a little bit in that performance just by, you know, you can't play to the duck style of the game.

And I want to talk about the physicality in this series a little bit.

Well, Leon Dreisaitl has had a really, really good start since coming back from injury.

We didn't see a whole lot of that in Game 1, but Game 2, it kind of felt like the message changed, especially in the Oilers' case.

Four points, a goal, and three assists.

But his partner in crime, Connor McDavid, hasn't been able to find the score sheet in these playoffs.

three huge hits and and that last one with with a few minutes left in the first period was just absolutely a bone crusher was the exit of Radko Gudis maybe a little bit of a confidence booster for the Oilers or was it something that you know they they weren't happy with in game one and then kind of set out to do in the next one yeah it looked like there was a real effort to to you know up the physicality and I thought in game one

And while it's been a big hit to the Oilers' offense, but you've got to think about the way that Anaheim is playing against McDavid right now.

You know that that was the number one thing on the board.

It was the biggest thing that they needed to handle.

And, well, if the first guy isn't there...

Make sure there's a second right behind.

And if the second gets through, which Connor probably will, there will be a third person there.
