They're still poor.

Nothing has gotten better in Venezuela.

It was only held together by the strongman Maduro.

I guess I just don't see it just turning out magically well.

But maybe, maybe.

Part of it depends on how the oil revenues share back with Venezuela.

And part of it is, I'll steel man it.

I'll do my best steel man it.

Which is like, if Marco Rubio...

who I think is much smarter than Trump, has a plan here.

It's like, okay, we can't give it to Machado yet because she doesn't have the support of the military.

She won the election.

We cannot give her the power because- Again, her party won the election.

Her party won the election and she does not have the support of the military, which is what we need to make sure this doesn't become another Iraq.

So we're going to seize the oil.

We're going to put the pressure on and we're going to use this money essentially as almost like bribes to slowly but surely change the behavior of those in power in Venezuela to be amenable to elections.

Right.

And so that is a, you know, there's like 10 question marks from here to there that we have now inherited as a country because of this gamble.

But yes, theoretically, I see that plan.
